We are Tellow, a bookkeeping app for entrepreneurs, and we are pushing the envelope. We’re passionate about the ‘gig’ economy and we’re doing our best to help it grow. We’re turning bookkeeping into a party for freelancers.  🎉

Every day we try to help freelancers as much as possible with their administration. Our super smart bookkeeping tool automates everything for them.

This way we give real-time insights in the financial situation. Just one click away, provided by us. Giving freelancers the time and freedom to do what they love most.

Your mission

To take the pain away from our customers, and use their feedback to take our platform to the next level.

Your role

Your focus is on supporting our customers - helping them get familiar with our platform, understand how to use it for bookkeeping and solve their troubles. But this is more than just your ordinary Customer Support role. 

Since we believe so much in the future, we want to make our future platform the best one possible for our clients. This means using their insight to make adjustments to our platform, and nobody knows our customers better than you! Therefor all of our Customer support agents, also have an additional role, from product owner to Chatbot Queen to Efficiency expert. This way you can use your time at Tellow to really grow in the direction of your future career. And we put our money where our mouth is: we offer regular coaching sessions and a training budget!

You will begin your role fully focused on the customer - and how best we can service them and take away their book-keeping pain. Then over time you can develop more and more into your secondary role, whatever it may be.

  • You are a true people-person, lots of personality and empathetic.
  • You have excellent listening skills and are strong in Dutch and English communication.
  • You handle change well, think on your feet and are a do-er.
  • You've got strong ambitions to add value to the whole company, and really learn more about business in general.
  • You have at least 1 year experience in a customer-facing role (sales, customer support, hospitality etc).
  • HBO working and thinking level.
  • Affinity has with mobile applications and digital solutions is a huge plus!
  • If you have bookkeeping knowledge, you'll get major points.
